Counseling & Support

Counseling for lesbians, gays, and trans people, especially those with a connection to Turkey Counseling and Referrals

If you are looking for advice, help and support, you are in the right place—no matter what your situation is. Whether you have a homosexual child, need to apply for a name change because you are trans, are looking for placement in a supervised residential group, or just need to fill out a form or write an official letter, we can help. Our counseling services can help you deal with discrimination, coming out, laws regarding residence permits and registered partnerships, and health issues. And if you wish, we can confidently refer you to doctors, lawyers or psychologists who can provide multi-lingual services in a non-racist, non-homophobic/non-transphobic environment. GLADT’s services are:

  • Anonymous and free of charge
  • Culturally specific and sensitive
  • Based on your needs and goals
  • For all ages

We can help—quickly, without complicated paperwork, and free of charge!

Our office languages are German, Turkish and English. Please call in advance to arrange counseling and support in the following languages: Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Farsi, French, Greek, Italian, Croatian, Kurdish, Serbian, and Spanish.
